Gents, I am in need of Ford P/N  D4AF 9E731.

 

Ford used it as an input sensor for their early cruise control systems, however in this application, Farrar used it as an electronic sending unit for their electric tachometers on a 671 Detroit Diesel.

 

Ford Dealers and Associated Truck Parts both came up with "NFG/Discontinued" on that part number, Anyone have any laying around (was on a Hahn firetruck if that helps....) or can you point me in a good direction? Any and all leads appreciated,

Thats not the one. But I believe we have located and ordered the correct one. Now I will be able to tell how many RPM's this piece of shit is turning.

Yeah they showed two, the one above for Ford P/N  D4AF 9E731   and a different type for  Ford P/N  D4AF 9E731-A  cable n electrical  connector out
