Have not yet started my B61 which was transported from Pa. My question is per the build sheet it is a  12 volt system??? Can I run  2 12 volt battery's instead of 4 6 volt battery's??

                                                               Thanks

Don't see why not. Just hook the batteries up properly so you don't end up with 24 volts.

The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living.

The government can only "give" someone what they first take from another.

Yes, you can run 2 12 volts instead of 4 6volts.One thing you should know your truck may start on 24volts and run on 12volts.You should look under the passenger seat and see if there is a spw this will tell you if it start on 24 and runs on 12.Good Luck.

It a switch that allows the truck to start with 24 volts and with the key in run position runs the normal systems (lights etc) on 12 volts.  4 Battery cables from batteries and 2 small gauge wires from starter switch and amp meter. Here is the basic B  model wiring schematic link.
