Mike, I don't know how you do it. I've had good offers on my REO, International  my ex Haynes Falls V.F.D. N model mini service unit and 2 of my Crane carriers. Can not do it, I always find an excuse to stop the adoption process. Last one when I asked what he planned on doing with my N, told me he was going to rip out the "piece of crap" diesel and put a 540 Chevy in it.  Told him to get off my property before I let my dogs out. My 3 Bassets would drool him to death.      Paul

Like Paul says, I have a hard time parting with anything, but you have way more trucks than I do and I'm sure you make sure they have found good homes before you part with them.  I know your goal is protect them until they ring their next homes. Is this going to Jack Hess?  I don't know him but have seen lots of things he has posted.  Mike.

Believe me it ain't easy, but I always make sure they are going to a good home, I just gotta get some cash flow to get caught up,that week in hospital in Dec. and being laid up a month now with my knee has hurt a bunch, and having to put a new engine in my son's truck was icing on the cake.

The guy getting this one has turned out some nice pieces in the past,he'll get it into shape and who knows,by then I might be in better shape and buy it back.

I'd lve to see some pics of your bassets. I sure miss mine.

These old trucks mean the world to me,it's hard, but when you know they will be taken good care of it makes it worthwhile. Don't worry though,I'll still be dragging in what I can.I put the original cost of this truck towards repair bills, but I made a deal to reinvest the extra. It ain't any fun to be totally financially responsible.

Yes it is going to Jack. I've known him for years.
