Without you, Scania wouldn’t be the same.

Drivers, designers, fleet managers, service engineers, purchasers, passengers, fans – we are all part of making Scania what it is.

Our calendars celebrate this. They tell your stories, our stories, the stories that make Scania.

And since it involves all of us, we simply call it, “We. Scania.”

Sebastiaan Steyn

Scania Press Release  /  April 30, 2015

“The little rhino was crying, but I calmed him down”
A poacher killed the baby rhino's mother and left the calf to die. And he probably would have died, if not for Sebastiaan Steyn. Sebastiaan is a member of WRSA Private Rhino Owners, a non-profit organization that works to protect South Africa's rhinos. Join us at Sebastiaan’s farm, Goliatskraal, and meet our calendar profile of June – a champion of rhinos.

"Well, what shall we do this week ?..."

"I dunno, how about we restore two Scania 141's and vintage trailers and drive them to Iran and back over the routes they took in the early seventies..!!"

these guys run the www.toprun.ch website... so why not film the whole trip and sell it...

in those early days, the Tahir pass was the main highway through eastern Turkey, today it looks like a goat trail. One day I will get to see the complete movie, looks like some very interesting old trucks still running in Iran.
