Gear shift for 10 speed D1070

Question

I have restored a 1982 built R600 320hp Coolpower truck with a 10 speed box

I am keen to see the correct rev range to change gears - correct clutch procedure both up and down shifts -

The transmission is a D1070

i can send photos

can anyone shed some light please ?

I also wonder if the cab airbag is meant to be adjusted or has a correct setting ? -( mine seems rock hard )

Thankyou ,Jock

Thinking there is about 300-350 rpm between gears.

Send pictures of truck, trucks, sheilas, etc...

Jim

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

Thankyou Jim

I will have a look over the great manual you have forwarded  so that i can work out the best rev range ,

I have been out of range for a while - I have been doing a few loads and the gear shifting has been improving (too slowly)

Plenty more photos available inside and out .

Thankyou Jock
