I have done that more than once and I thought little about it. As far as the dot half of them wouldn't know what to look at and the other half would be to busy checking that your license plate light is working. I have the truck valued at $10,000 and have a provision so I can pull trailers. Cost me $192 a year. New steering arm raised everything inline and the drag link from the sterling I got the new brakes from had the perfect bend. All I did was shorten it and put the mack end on to fit pitman arm. I cut the shock mounts off of them and made my own to go on ubolts like mack ones did. These are the same ones on my 2017 cascadia Also used steel hubs I don't have a # for them. Used fabricated brake drums instead of the cast due to the thinner mounting surface to help keep wheel in fender. Hauled 2 loads of tractors on my gooseneck to one of our local shows. Truck worked perfect. After we finished the tractor pulls ( I think last class was 12,500# tractors) they left me play. Again lots of chears and camer flashes and truck worked great. I put Watt's stainless mirror brackets on and they fit close but hit the rain gutter on passenger side. im going to have to open some holes up in the top of the door and I should be able to adjust it. The original paint is a bit oranger. Maybe ordinary reducer dilutes the fish oil base? Now I think I have all emblems on my hood, but on both sides there is 1 extra hole above thermodyne. Any idea what goes there?
