My A/C works to good; it does not cycle; not  close to house where I can put gauges on it; buy seems like it's doing good except won't cycle; it will freeze up if not running fan on high; the folks where I bought truck said they had just put new controller in it;

thought it might be something that was common problem

thanks for any help

your ac system should have a coil in front of or behind your radiator could it be clogged which would prevent air passing though it which can cause the system to freeze. I see this in house systems from time to time and when we clean the coils the system starts to work with out freezing up. Maybe this will help.

Condenser looks clean; I was thinking if it was stopped up it wouldn't cool & high side would get high enough to shut down; I know enough about a/c to be dangerous; cabin filter is clean & has good air blowing through vents when evaporater doesn't freeze; I think the problem is compressor not cycling but don't know what causes that

thanks
