To hell with the the queen, that over paid puke and her family have leached off of their own people for centuries. If she's so worried about the people she and her family should get real jobs and give up the millions in annual salaries they take while sitting on their butts. http://www.discoveryfinance.com/how-much-do-british-royal-family-make-annually.html be sure to get toward the end of this article and from what I gather their salary is play money while their subjects foot the bill for everything else.

The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living.

The government can only "give" someone what they first take from another.

So since it's under the Queen, does that mean my family is now on bad terms with the Royal Navy again? We had to hide with the Dutch to stop our necks from being stretched by the crown in the early 1600's.

Many had to sign this oath of Allegiance in order to escape the crown.  My ancestors did sign in order to escape to the "colonies."  You can read the oath here.   It's kinda hard to read from this copy but the meaning is abundantly clear.  You basically promised your very existence to the  King.

My family was the Royal Administrators in Cheshire County, England from 1270 to 1789 and in the 1500 had six ships  commissioned as privateers, sailing for the King. The Spanish mainly our prey but after the mid 1600's all ships along the Eastern Seaboard were prey when we went from Privateers to Pirates. We had some at Ellesmere Port, England and Massachusetts. During the Revolutionary War, the family in Mass and Conn joined Washington's army, the family on Long Island were granted a pardon and fought for the British. After the war the British took our ships and removed Cheshire County as the administrators for the crown to Northern England.

I stopped at the family ancestral  estate on leave from S.E.A. in 1971 and had the door slammed in my face for being a" Colonial Upstart".

Wow, that's some history indeed!  I think you can rightly take the door slamming reception as a badge of honor my friend.
