Most were 70s and newer with a variety if fancy paint jobs, loud stereos or hydraulics. Not what I was hoping for. I will not go back. Mike. If you are a "wanta be" big rigger, then perhaps you should go. I would wander around the show field a little and look but like Mike said, too many booming stereos and hydraulics. I did see a few big ones roll in but they were FAR from the antiques I was hoping to see. I too won't be going back. BTW. How far from Carlisle is Macgungie? In addition to Macungie, an excellent show is the ATHS Tri-State show in Winchester, VA September 22-24, 2016. As others have stated, Macungie is about (two) 2 hours northeast of Carlisle, just southwest of Allentown. Trucktoberfest will be in September (typically) at the Mack Museum in Allentown. Brocky Posted May 29, 2016 Share Posted May 29, 2016 Willie Dog If you come up to Macungie please plan time to do both the Mack Museum (free bus from show) and also the America on Wheels museum further downtown. AOW has a lot of Mack's possessions in it as well as everything from the horse and buggy to modern sports/mussel cars. It wasn't a really big one if I recall but I really enjoyed it. Maybe I might run in to some of you guys while I'm there. The tanker won't be ready by then but I love to look around.
