Media hiding a UN Treaty from us?

This was signed with out any ones approval but Obama,s in April at the United Nations. Due to go in force before January 2017 so it can not be un done! Violation of our law, and sets up U.N. control off all Environmental laws, regulations and fines in the USA. The Media has been mum until it appeared on BBC.com a few days ago.   Paul

Behind closed doors, and intentionally scheduled to coincide with Earth Day on Friday, April 22, reportedly 171 nations signed on the dotted at the United Nations head quarters in New York, putting in writing their commitment to a new international treaty.   

The treaty was the “Paris Agreement on Climate Change” which had been approved by 196 countries in Paris on Dec. 12, 2015, in which they pledged to work to limit the temperature rise of the world by 2 degrees Celsius.  Each country must submit a proposal on how they will implement changes to limit climate change.  Cutting greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55 percent in ten years is the agreements goal – resulting in extremely stiff government regulations that will impact every U.S. industry and consumer. 

President Obama ordered the new agreement to take effect before he leaves office next January. A clause in the treaty means it would take up to four years if a new leader, less committed to climate action, wanted to take the US out of the agreement.  Other countries are watching the US election process very closely.  Mention of the name Trump has the UN members nervous, as a Republican victory could lead to America’s eventual withdrawal of the agreement.

BBC.com reported that Hollywood actor and climate change campaigner Leonardo DiCaprio spoke at the U.N. summit: “After 21 years of debates and conferences it’s time to declare no more talks, no more 10-year studies, no more allowing the fossil fuel companies to manipulate and dictate the science and the policies that affect our future. This is the body that can do what is needed.”

Senator Mike Lee of Utah and Representative Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania released a public letter condemning Obama for committing the U.S. to the Paris Climate Agreement without even submitting it through congress.   They said the agreement will force states to meet emission targets and its carbon reductions requirement will inflict costs on every American.

There will undoubtedly be a long list of agreements, treaties, and mandates that will haunt this country long after he leaves office.  The media will likely wait until after the election to report on the ones they feel we are entitled to know about.  I have more than a little concern about the crap he will pull between now and January.

Only if Hillary becomes president will this type of idiocy continue. Trump will toss treaties like this starting January 21st and put U.S. interests first again. The Iran nuke deal will be tossed as well, since they don't honor the agreement anyway, and it has come to light that we were misled by the state department and the media. Now, if only our Republicans in Congress would grow a spine we could turn this ship around.

With the help of the U.N. and John Kerry the Climate Treaty was  written as a self-executing treaty, which does not require additional legislative action to go into effect. One more way to get his way. It was tested and proved to be enforceable on the signing by Hillary in the Presidents behalf of the UN Sustainable Water treaty that gives U.N.  and the Federal government 100% control of all waters in the U.S. that eventually end up in the ocean.  Slipped the self executing treaty amendments through with no media fan fair except the blurb on 
"streamlining the ratification process".

The Donald will have to work on this stuff big time.  If it is LAW, that can only come one way and it isn't through John Horse Face Kerrey signing on the dotted line...not legal and cannot stand as such...of course it will take the court to fix it etc.   Unbelievable.
