Looks like a 10 speed TRDL-107, or TRDL-1070 to me. Unless the toggle on top of the dash and red side marker installed into the dash panel was for low range. Neither were original to 1979.

that is the first one i have seen like that Paul. 

i wonder if it is from a sleeper truck for easier sleeper box access?

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

Normal might be too strong, but I've seen that passenger seat in several Macks over the years.

I think There was a option for a wider bench passenger seat in the R model. This may be it?
