A ABS sensor detects a tire slipping and activates the power divider and the light comes on. tjc transport Posted August 18, 2016 Share Posted August 18, 2016 correct, ATC is auto traction control, and slightly applies the brake of the slipping wheel. the lightning bolt is the electrical malfunction light, some call it the check engine light. fjh Posted August 19, 2016 Share Posted August 19, 2016 On newer unit s it is also tied in to the vehicle stabilization program it operates the front brakes and dials back the throttle if you go to fast into a corner more Teck stuff.
