The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living.

The government can only "give" someone what they first take from another.

Nixon was run out of office for the equivalent of a parking ticket compared to the multiple felonies this president has managed to get away with...and the current occupant's illegal and downright treasonous activities pale in comparison to those of his party's nominee.

When approaching a 4-way stop, the vehicle with the biggest tires has the right of way!

Heard today that Iran has already started kidnapping US citizens for ransom SINCE Obummer paid them. This is why we never paid ransom to bad guys before.

Even Carter didn't pay or negotiate with terrorists or the enemy.

C'mon guys, let's keep this in perspective.

The Iranians paid a hefty deposit for additional Grumman F-14s. They didn't get them.

They wanted the airplanes, or their money back. The U.S. side provided neither.

The international tribunal in The Hague ruled that Iran should get their money back. We were compelled to comply with the ruling, since we're always pushing other countries to observe the rule of law (and because we're pushing China to comply with the Hague ruling on the South China Sea).

But, Obama refused to let the cargo plane with money depart Switzerland for Iran until he was sure that the hostages were released and airborne. Any one of us would have done the same thing, and felt wise for doing so.

It wasn't a ransom. It was a prudent move.

If that is the case, we owe Russia monies in the Billions that Tsar Nicolas paid Remington Arms (in goild) in 1917 for arms to equip his White Russian Army top battle the Reds.
