Pretty interesting thing. 

And there could a beautiful show car transporter be build of it.

But on my mind the boss is right.

You must have too much of balls too many eggs in a busket to complete that project.

There has been one of them in Hemmings for a long  time, is fwd with a Ford flathead. Anyone know the history of the vehicle? Where were they made, and for what industry? Hand built low production for sure! Can't place the cab,maybe 40's Gm,or more likely Ford since they used a flat head.

That design dates back to the early 1920's. They were big for riggers moving heavy machinery and such. Some where I have photos of one from about 1920 in a museum. Hydraulic steering, chain front drive and same bed as the Murty. Also a rear drive 1918 Doane with the same design cues.

The cab on the Murty is a 1946 to 1948 Chevrolet or GMC  truck cab assembly.
