According to the Brazilian Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA ), Volvo registrations of new heavy trucks over 15 tons in Brazil fell by 10 percent to 387 units in August 2016, compared with the same month last year.

Compared to July 2016, the previous month, registrations increased by 14 percent.

The total number of heavy truck registrations in Brazil amounted to 1,299 vehicles in August, a decline of 15.1 percent compared with the same month last year.

Compared with the previous month, heavy truck registrations declined 15.5 percent.

Scania registrations of new heavy trucks over 15 tons in Brazil amounted to 302 vehicles in August, a decrease of 9 percent compared with the same month last year.

Statistics also show that 128 Volvo medium-heavy trucks were registered in Brazil in August, a decrease of 49 percent compared with the same month last year.

The total number of medium-heavy truck registrations in Brazil amounted to 1,202 vehicles in August.
