Excellent show and venue.  Too bad it was so stinkin' hot but at least the A/C in the museum was working.  Kudos to Doug and the Museum staff for their efforts.  Always something "new" to see at the Museum.

trucktoberfest           what makes me think this event happens in october?

I think that's why this event always sneaks up on me. So close to home and I can't make it happen.

Maddog - I like that old picture.  Can you tell a gas engine?  Seems a lot of those wreckers were.   I always am looking so close I forget to take pictures. That Bethlehem Steel DM was there I guess on loan. He did a nice job. The old AC Gary Mahan brought down was very cool.  Always a lot to look at for sure.

Bartnicks was originally a B42 with a 401 flathead, then they put in an overhear valve 438, still wasn't enough and they repowered it again with a 673 and 10 speed. before we bought it the guy put a brand new 673 in it and painted it god aweful waste management purple. it doesn't looks as good anymore, years of salt on the NYS Thruway took its toll

The actual Oktoberfest held annually in Munich

runs from mid to late September to the first weekend in October.
