2007 Mack CV713 AI 425HP

Question

Hello-

We are looking at a 2007 Mack CV-713 with AI 425HP.  As 4.42 rear end ratio and 10 speed.  The truck will run 73mph top speed @ ~1800 rpms (empty).  This truck has been converted to a dump with a 15.5 ft. box on it.

We need a truck to run 85mph empty and get through the gears with quickness.  It seems the above mentioned truck is a little lagging getting through the gears and naturally-it will be slower once we get loaded with 20 tons of material.

Can anyone provide some much needed insight to what is possible for having this truck turned up?  Would this truck be able to handle (maintain reliability)  being  turned up to meet our performance demands?  Does anyone have any recommendations for top notch Mack mechanics in the Houston Texas area.

Your support would be much appreciated.
