Getyourshineon Posted November 4, 2016 Share Posted November 4, 2016 What I got going on is I was asked to help restore and polish the diamond plate on a firetruck that was part of an arson fire at a local fire department. I was curious if anyone has tackled this before and if so, which product works the best. Thank you for any insight. I use ZEPHYR PRO 40 PERFECTION METAL POLISH for my polish, my metal has not been exposed to fire. Freightrain Posted November 9, 2016 Share Posted November 9, 2016 If the metal is scorched then it will take lots of sanding to get it back down to a surface that can be polished.
