B67 Cabs

Are B67 cabs the same dimensions as a B61 cab? Were they available with the same engine options?

Some of the dimensions are the same but the B67 has the contour cab back panel as well as a large doghouse in the firewall to accommodate the motor.  Also, some of the motor options were the same between the two models but a B67 mounted the motor rotated toward the pass. side.

I only saved this part the the picture but somewhere on here is the rest of it with the demensions of the B series.    The 67 could have flat or contour cab

Sorry, I forgot that flat back was available.  Seen so many B67 with the contour compared to seeing very few with the flat.

Is the engine positioned offset to the right or is it biased over the cranckshaft axle line?

Crank stays in its position but the head is over to the right side.

Geez you cut the rear panel out and reverse it it'll look like it has a big blister seeing as it will go from concave to convex.

yup B65's were a rare bird that you rarely come across. Red Star Express had a bunch of B65T's out of their Utica Ny terminal

growing up in the eastcoast ,,, i dont remember seeing that many of them,,,,,kinda funky looking .....never really thought about the cab space issue.....bob

I have a 1962 B-67 with the standard flat back cab that was an option on the spec sheet. My B-67 has a smaller steering wheel also maybe 20". It helps when you are 300 lbs.
