The truck occasionally quits running (the truck has quit running three times in a two month period about three miles from the shop). Restarts with ether. The dealer diagnosed and replaced oil level sensor which was in the pan. It stopped again. Obviously this repair made no difference. The mechanical turbo codes are tripped as well. The truck has 300,000 miles and runs fine when it runs. Any ideas welcomed. Thank you! Mackpro Posted December 2, 2016 Share Posted December 2, 2016 Turbo or turbo actuator could be an issue. We have had turbos cause no start issuses. Dealer should have done turbo function test and looked at actuator motor effort. If it was high then turbo and actuator should be looked at.
