Not sure on what you are you are trying to do. Why keep it  + ground ?  I think most were changed years ago to neg ground to slow electrolysis on  the frame body parts and etc. As mentioned above starters will go either way and you do not need the series parallel switch. The key switch should be for the charging system and misc. items.  Just wire your start button to a power source then to the starter solenoid. If you go to neg ground you will need to polarize your generator and switch a few wires. If your generator ever goes bad you will be set up for a one wire alt.  The B 81 is a neat truck how about some pictures.
