Ill be damned! I've had quite a few miles on an 8v71 and the engine didn't sound at all like a 2cycle Detroit! The 13 speed was obvious as they showed the cab interior! That would have been my choice of engine(in that time frame) as they were so reliable,and the empty dump body had plenty of room for oil lol you had to watch the Cummins of that era as they were known to warp a head when overheated!
