A few years ago I saw a truck with a set of stainless steel splash guards they bolted into the lower part of the fenders under the headlights they keep the mud from splashing through the gap between the hood and bumper. I looked and hadn't found them advertised anywhere they are great because they stop the mud from running down the front of the bumper in front of the tires. They could have been custom made but looked factory if I cant source them ready made I might make a set myself.

Likely home made. Just buy a sheet of stainless and round of the corners and give it a bend if its needed.  one thing I would do if you install them is to add some sealant to them where they bolt to the hood as that will prevent water from leaking between the hood and SS plate.
