I got sent a email today quit concerning really because wrongly or rightly the US economy has a effect on the Australian economy interesting to know people from the US thoughts on this but I think what has happened and is about to happen to the US has to because you cant allow this to carry on if its true ???

What's the problem with that much support?
Well, the median household income in America is just over $50,000, which
averages out to $137 a day 
To put it another way, being on welfare now pays the equivalent of
$30.00 an hour for 40 hour week, while the average job pays $24.00 an hour.

The percentage of each past president's cabinet... who had worked in
the private business sector... prior to their appointment to the cabinet.
You know what the private business sector is: A real-life business...
not a government job.

On my side I can not tel it's better in my own country. And too probably will not be in the distant future.

But I too wish you Americans to get things correct way soon. One thing I always sure - working people must not be a cow only milked to feed others.

Garbage. Many would have you believe the "liberal" media is the only twisting facts to suite their agenda but it really goes both ways.

But anyway, New York State has around 9 million people in the work force. If we use the wacko numbers from above that means at least 10 million people have to be on welfare collecting 1200 a week(?) month(?) that puts the payout in the billions. Just plain nonsense. The state budget was only 156 Billion last year!

Now, that isn't to say the welfare system is bloated or abused by many but it's nowhere as crazy as those numbers make you think.

I'd have to do some checking to see of the above statistics were accurate but it wouldn't surprise me if it all was true.

By the time you add every piece of assistance people on welfare get, the price could very well be $168 per day. Food stamps (EBT card), welfare, Obamacare, housing, tax credits, Obama phone, child care, the list goes on and on.
