Just started up my 98 CH in the shed for last two months, I think it's about 20 out?

Anyways, started right up and started "popping" back thru the air cleaner . Figured the air pump / wasn't building air and I shut off.

Assume I broke the air compressor when it started?

Any thoughts on this matter , and is it possible moisture froozen somewhere in the line??

sounds more like a valve stuck open

Good idea, I guess I'll get a space heater under the hood in the morning and try thawing ! Didn't drain the air when I parked it last. Never had it freeze like this before ?

Once in the heated shop for service I'll be asking the forum what's involved in swapping the daytons for buds this week. Doing a brake job and a good time to swap over.
