I can turn on my heater and help cool lot off. I am not m7ch of a mechanic but do know sum. What else can I check. 0 j hancock Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 What is the temperature going up to? Have you used another gauge or an infrared thermometer to verify the temp.? Is the radiator externally in good condition? If the fins between the tubes are disintegrating or missing it will lead to poor cooling. Have you done a test to check for a leaking head gasket?
