Question
JTBALDY
HELLO WORKING ON A MUNINCIPALITY 2008 MACK MRU612 WITH ONLY 5,218.00 MILES .THIS UNIT WAS TOWED HERE STATING, WON'T START,ENGINE OIL OVERFLOWING,LOTS OF COOLANT WAS ADDED(THE WRITE UP SHEET)
HOWEVER ENGINE DID RUN WE FOUND OIL PRESSURE EXTREME AND OVERFLOWING. LIKE A MC DONALD'S CHOCOLATTE SHAKE! WE REMOVED OIL PAN ,WHEN ADDING COOLANT IT POURS OUT OF A COUPLE CYL LINERS ,WOW!
THE CRANK SHAFT IS BLUE!
I CALLED MUNINCIPALITY FOR HISTORY, THEY CLAIM IT STALLED WHILE DRIVING ,TOWED TO THEM AND ADDED LOTS OF COOLANT THEN TOWED TO US NEXT DAY.
PRIOR TO THAT 12/2016 THEY TOWED TO THERE SHOP FOR NO POWER AND DID A REGEN
MY ENGINE TECH BELIEVES THAT CAUSE OF THE CRANK SO BLUE ,WE CAN'T REUSE THIS BLOCK TO REMAN?
WE WONDER WITCH BOLT ON ACCYS THAT COOLANT RUNS THREW FAILED?
ANY INPUT? LOL! THANK YOU, JT
