Recent (from 2013?) New Zealand-assembled 9800i's had a unique grille treatment.

Note the cab sits higher.....the headlamp/side fender panels are taller.

And now the latest grille mimics the LoneStar (Intertruck 9870). And note the new step arrangement.

Kinda like that "Lonestar" grill.  The Blue twin steer grill looks like a Diamond T grill

The Diamond Reo Royale/Royale II COE was ahead of its time.

This and a Western Star are 2 COE's that I haven't owned yet.   Someday

Remember if it's got a hood it's no good!

Remember the Diamond reo "Raider" they pushed the heck out of that truck, ostensibly for owner operators they had them at all the big 76 ts in 1974! Thought they looked awful! The Royale is a much classier tractor! I drove a Navistar Flat floor Cabover for 6 yrs, That western star looking grille on the white truck actually takes away that generic look of the 90s Navastars!
