No rot living out here, been setting for 11 years. Use to drive one of these. h67st Posted August 7, 2017 Share Posted August 7, 2017 Yeah, that torsion bar setup is a real beast. I worked at Pic-Way Shoes in the 80's and we had 10 of them. We spent a lot of time replacing bushings on them, and you have to take the weight off the suspension to get them greased properly. Hobert62 Posted August 7, 2017 Share Posted August 7, 2017 My dad had a W-9 with torsion bar and said it didn't ride bad and worked very good off-road. Problem was it was central pa in the early 80's when coal was booming, and they got paid by the ton. It didn't hold up real good. He kept braking stuff. Had a magnesium frame,corroded beyond repair! Old iron haulers truck!
