E9 missing on #8

Question

Hi

I have a 1988 superliner with an e9 500 that suddenly developed a miss on #8 and it's pushing fuel out the exhaust. I have been struggling with it for a while now.

Injector was tested and it's fine.      Cylinder head was changed out with a good used head thinking it was a valve seat or valve problem but no dice the last thing I tried was haveing the fuel pump checked out it tested good

I'm at a loss and must be missing something? Any ideas where to go from here

thanks Kevin

Did you check compression in that cylinder? I'm far from a mechanic so take that into consideration but if you have fuel and air the last thing that is missing is ignition (compression).

The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living.

The government can only "give" someone what they first take from another.
