I have a '99 RD688s with s440 rears ,4.42 ratio. Friday I was loaded and heard some clucking in the drive train and then it just felt like the trans was about to lock up so I threw it in neutral and coasted to a good place dumped my load and got lowboy to haul it to my shop. It's the front rear. After taking the side plate off I could see teeth in the case so I pulled rear out of truck. Can anyone tell me what caused this? And does anyone have a diagram or anything of the breakdown that I could see? Thank you so much for any help.
