It was originally delivered to Allegheny County, Pa as a municipal dump truck. I don't really know anything beyond that except that it ended up with a gentleman who owned Shell gas stations in Wisconsin. He did a rough restoration on it. I bought it at auction 7 years ago. The truck will once again be a dump truck.

The AC will look good in service with the RD for spring 2018!

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

Looks great!

And really nice to see the progress.

I like the idea of body rebuild. But making such reproduction parts I noted they might look too fresh sometimes. So I practiced making new sheet metal parts that sand blasting them and keep outside for a year or more. Than blast again, paint and assemble. This way steel gets traces of rust removed and looks ancient. But good of its shape and rust-free.

Thank you for sharing so many stages. I don't remember seeing AC resto in progress.

Great workmanship!!      Your pictures are extremely helpful in figuring out where things belong on my AC.   It has been apart for years & the body is new but never mounted to the frame.  I need to figure out how it fastens down.

Thank you,

Jack
