Interesting.   I know mine didn't have anything like that.  The heater hoses just hung in space.   I always wondered how long those old copper lines would last before they cracked.  Never did.

Thanks  .  The Mack Model B photo archives has a picture of  a END 672 engine with the two posts like mine.  My engine had rubber heater hoses hanging all over. Just want to clean things up some. Thought about using these as some type of support. When I go to a show get to see a lot of trucks but never the engines.

Mine b67 has a heat shield also.   My heater hoses are on the other side of the motor.   The rear stud is a bolt and has a bracket that holds the dipstick.  The front one is a stud.  image.thumb.jpg.0b3f2dc4addc0ed09b3fef133def7193.jpg
