I just created an account on this page to ask question pertaining to this truck mainly. My work has a RD688, with a Leach rear loader body. I had it running the other day, and it just shut down. Now when I go to start it, you hear a little relay click in the glove box, and the dash shuts off like its cranking, but nothing happens. Batteries are fully charged. Cummins under the hood.

Thanks!

Waste of a good truck putting a cummins under the hood ! :D Check the battery Grounds and connections at the starter,  Check turn the key on See if the heater fan runs if it doesn't and it was working before the relay under the dash is likly faulty! also on the fire wall on the drivers side you may find a ground fault breaker  aprox 2 inches round try jumping it across!

Just as a FYI, I just remembered that I was mistaking what truck, this RD has a E7 in it. Heater fan runs, starter connections are good. Have to go over the rest once I have time.
