Question

I'm looking to purchase my first Mack. The truck of interest is a 2000 CL713 Tri-Axle dump. I see a lot more CV 713 than i do CL 713 Models. Can somebody explain to me the difference and weather or not I should stay away from the CL model and lean towards a CV or R model.

CL has a heavier frame than a RD/CV.  It also has a Much bigger hood.  All were good trucks. Pre 02 emissions Should be a plus. What are the other specs?  If  i was contemplating another triaxle engine, trans, suspension, rear ratio, and wheelbase would be things i would be more concerned about than CL vs CV.
