I think Mack took over Brockway in 1975 but I'm not sure. Can anyone verify this for me. I drove a old brock back in 1984 for Romanella in Stonington,Ct. It was all chromed out with a 318 and a 15 speed. It pulled a 24 ft dump trailer. I really liked that old truck. Tim....Too stack Mack :thumb:

I think Mack bought brockway in the late 50s around 57-58??

and sold them or closed them in 1976-77.

I have never driven one but I do remember seeing a few as a kid. last one I saw was around 2 years ago still working in the west point NY aera.

Mack bought Brockway in 1955, 56 or 57. I can't remember which. But I am 99% sure that it was one of the three. :SMOKIE-LFT::thumb:
