Jamkar Posted July 22, 2018 Share Posted July 22, 2018 Just remove hose from the bottom and unscrew it, you'll probably need a filter wrench. Pay good attention to the seal when re-fitting it. Mack Technician Posted July 22, 2018 Share Posted July 22, 2018 You can collapse the top if you squeeze near the seal or center. Get it strapped on the bottom of canister. Dont reinstall it with a wrench, hand tighten it. Brandt Posted August 11, 2018 Author Share Posted August 11, 2018 (edited) I bought a spare housing from Mack in case I crushed mine. I turned like there was no tomorrow and it loosened up and came off w/o crushing. Mack took the part back and I am $97 richer!! Thanks guys.
