Hydrogen Embrittlement is caused by the Hydrogen evolved during electro-platingprocess, causing it to be absorbed into the crystal structure of the steel at it's surface. Normally baking at 190 deg. C (375F) to 200 deg. C (400F) will remove the atomic Hydrogen before it has had chance to migrate and become molecular. Documented tests carried out by the Spring Research Institute in the UK have suggested that if baking is carried out within 24 hrs. of plating the Hydrogen can be removed. However it appears that many Military specifications request that the treatment be carried out within a much tighter timescale.    Paul

Both of those trucks look great with the chrome rims, but that B is super great!

love how them aussies always seem to have wider rims on the front even with daytons. not  425 floaters but more than a 11 22.5

You can get Spider (Dayton) Rims to suit 11R 22.5 or 295/80 22.5's with the same offset as Super single Rims..

There is a 22.5 x 9 inch offset rim which gives it a wider look but can still run standard tyre size.

I heard of a bloke who was building a kit car and had some suspension components chromed and was told he couldn’t use them. Must of been for that reason.
