I work in a main fleet garage and i have a 2009 cv713 granite sent to me by county service garage for  "making oil". Was brought in for same problem month and a half ago found torn o ring on #3  EUP,  put new o rings on all unit pumps and replaced lift pump test drove truck 3 days no problems return to county garage. 4 weeks later truck is 3 gallons overfull on oil again. unfortunately i am the last to get info on the truck like " when did it start again?" because our drivers pre trip every morning and "it just showed up overnight" or "it wasnt like that when i checked it this morning"  any ideas on where it is coming from? definitely diesel because of the smell.

Seals are a problem.

The plug in the fuel gallery behind the front cover leaking.

Fuel supply pump shaft seal failed.

Hopefully the bearings are OK.  Time to drop the pan.

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.
