Hey everyone ,

I am based in the Vanuatu Islands,  about 3 hours from the coast of Australia .

We have a Kato mobile crane powered with a Mack ETB 673 engine circa 1978 .

The poor old girl is dying a slow death here and I am trying to get on top of repairs and maintenance . Not an easy task given the conditions and previous service or lack of.

From what I can see this a great forum/site and I will be most greatful for any help with tech questions as I no information  on the engine .

Best regards Al

Elsewhere on this site or the web the the ETB 673 was an upgraded HP engine to 306 HP. I can't seem to find it off hand. Just had it about 10 minutes ago and lost it.
