All it is is a live version of Punch and Judy show with Chicken Little crying RAPE. The curtain goes down and the the next Us vs Them  saga opens staring the Illegals cast or the health care comedy or any of a few dozen made up crises.  In plain language it is all for show and all B.S.just for naught.

Despite the screams of the Republicans that Democrats are playing games (which they are) let us not forget the little stunt they pulled with Merrick Garland. They simply refused to hold any hearings to begin the nomination process. Now that they are receiving a taste of their own medicine and they don't like it one bit.

The system is far past broken.

It only seems fair to me that she explain herself I front of the world if she has the balls to accuse someone in front of the world. Like I said earlier it's actually against our rights to treat someone guilty until proven innocent like what goes on in the news every single day. If people were held accountable for their statements and accusations against another (unfounded of course) a lot of this crap would stop. Watched some of the circus today and from what I watched none of her friends or family is backing her story but if we question that we are horrible people.

The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living.

The government can only "give" someone what they first take from another.

Lets see what happens to the staffers who did this. Access to their Wikipedia pages is extremely limited.

Republican Senators THREATENED By Democrat Staffers

Several Republican Senators were “doxxed”, with personal contact information exposed on Wikipedia. The IP address that made these edits was located in Capitol Hill. The Daily Wire reports:

Personal information of Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee and Orrin Hatch were posted by an unknown person located in the House of Representatives on Thursday during the hearing of Supreme Court Nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

The information, which included home addresses and phone numbers, was posted – or doxxed – on the senators’ respective Wikipedia pages, where users are allowed to update the information at any time. The information has since been removed. All three targeted senators were members of the Senate Judiciary Committee who questioned both Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Kavanaugh regarding Ford’s allegations that he sexually assaulted her over 36 years ago. The leaking of information occurred sometime after the three lawmakers questioned Kavanaugh.

But while the home addresses of the senators appear to be correct, some of the phone numbers weren’t entirely accurate.

This despicable act was most likely perpetrated by angry staffers who could not stomach the fact that Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed .

Well this should be fairly easy to track down.  And I would imagine there must be some policy in place that clearly was violated.

End result we SHOULD see some disciplinary action taken.

I had to reconsider my position on this, as it was another time and place with differing attitudes. This happened when a good woman feared telling her parents. Some parents cared more about burying it, lest neighbors, relatives and friends learn of it, to their embarrassment, than they did the daughter’s mental trauma of being raped, and heaven forbid impregnated. Am I wrong?

This is all assuming she’s telling the truth.

For the record, and I’ll be candid as usual, I don’t care for most wealthy people (Mark being a rare exception), particularly if they spoil their children. I’m a public school boy with a dislike for private, prep, boys and girl’s schools.

Don't get me wrong either I have absolutely no use for most politicians! Specially silver spooners!!    How ever my first comment still stands in my mind the attitude of society has changed in the last 10 years finally ! However The timing of sum  of these events as of late is questionable ! The length of time between the alleged  crime and now is a bit extreme! This stuff is happening way to often as of late !had she brought the subject up even 5 years ago It would have been more credible In my mind And we likley would not be talking about this here today!

Former Employer Sued Third Kavanaugh Accuser For Sexual Harassment Allegations

Daily Caller.

5:13 PM 09/28/2018

Andrew Kerr | Investigative Reporter

  • Julie Swetnick, the third woman to accuse Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct in high school, faced allegations from her former employer that she engaged in “unwelcome, sexually offensive conduct” in 2000.
  • WebTrends alleged in a lawsuit that, after the company determined she had engaged in “inappropriate conduct,” Swetnick made “false and retaliatory allegations” of sexual harassment against two male co-workers.
  • Kavanaugh vehemently denied Swetnick’s claims, and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, called the case “bogus,” pointing out that WebTrends dismissed its case.

The woman who charges she was gang-raped at a party where Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was present, Julie Swetnick, had a lawsuit filed against her by a former employer that alleged she engaged in “unwelcome, sexually offensive conduct” towards two male co-workers, according to court documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

WebTrends, a web analytics company headquartered in Portland, filed the defamation and fraud lawsuit against Swetnick in Oregon in November 2000 and also alleged that she lied about graduating from Johns Hopkins University.

Swetnick alleged Wednesday that she was gang raped at a party where Kavanaugh was present in the early 1980s. Kavanaugh has vehemently denied the allegation. (RELATED: Kavanaugh Breaks Silence On Avenatti Represented Accuser)

Swetnick is represented by Michael Avenatti, the lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels, who claims she had an affair with President Donald Trump.

WebTrends voluntarily dismissed its suit after one month. Avenatti told The Daily Caller News Foundation that the case was ended because it was “completely bogus.”

Swetnick’s alleged conduct took place in June 2000, just three weeks after she started working at WebTrends, the complaint shows. WebTrends conducted an investigation that found both male employees gave similar accounts of Swetnick engaging in “unwelcome sexual innuendo and inappropriate conduct” toward them during a business lunch in front of customers, the complaint said.

Swetnick denied the allegations and, WebTrends alleged, “in a transparent effort to divert attention from her own inappropriate behavior … [made] false and retaliatory allegations” of sexual harassment against two other male co-workers.

“Based on its investigations, WebTrends determined that Swetnick had engaged in inappropriate conduct, but that no corroborating evidence existed to support Swetnick’s allegations against her coworkers,” the complaint said.

After a WebTrends human resources director informed Swetnick that the company was unable to corroborate the sexual harassment allegations she had made, she “remarkably” walked back the allegations, according to the complaint.

In July, one month after the alleged incident, Swetnick took a leave of absence from the company for sinus issues, according to the complaint. WebTrends said it made short-term disability payments to her until mid-August that year. One week after the payments stopped, WebTrends received a note from Swetnick’s doctor claiming she needed a leave of absence for a “nervous breakdown.”

The company said it continued to provide health insurance coverage for Swetnick, despite her refusal provide any additional information about her alleged medical condition.

In November, the company’s human resources director received a notice from the Washington, D.C. Department of Unemployment that Swetnick had applied for unemployment benefits after claiming she left WebTrends voluntarily in late September.

“In short, Swetnick continued to claim the benefits of a full-time employee of WebTrends, sought disability payments from WebTrends’ insurance carrier and falsely claimed unemployment insurance payments from the District of Columbia,” the complaint states.

Swetnick allegedly hung up the phone on WebTrends managers calling to discuss why she applied for unemployment benefits, according to the complaint. She then sent letters to WebTrends’ upper management, detailing new allegations that two male co-workers sexually harassed her and said that the company’s human resources director had “illegally tired [sic] for months to get privileged medical information” from her, her doctor and her insurance company.

WebTrends also alleged that Swetnick began her fraud against the company before she was hired by stating on her job application that she graduated from John Hopkins University. But according to the complaint, the school had no record of her attendance.

An online resume posted by Swetnick makes no reference to John Hopkins University. It does show that she worked for WebTrends from December 1999 to August 2000.

It’s unclear what transpired after the complaint was filed against Swetnick. One month after WebTrends filed the action, the company voluntarily dismissed the action with prejudice.

The complaint against his client was “[c]ompletely bogus which is why it was dismissed almost immediately,” Avenatti told TheDCNF in an email. “The lawsuit was filed in retaliation against my client after she pursued claims against the company.”

WebTrends did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

In March 2001, three months after WebTrends dismissed its action, Swetnick’s ex-boyfriend, Richard Vinneccy, filed a restraining order against Swetnick, claiming that she threatened him after he ended their four-year relationship. (RELATED: Ex-Boyfriend Of Third Kavanaugh Accuser Filed Restraining Order Against Her)

“She’s not credible,” Vinneccy told Politico. “Not at all.”

Actually, HER "elected officials" chose to hold onto the confidential letter she sent and not disclose any of the allegations contained in it to the committee in a timely manner. There was no mention of the allegations during the private meetings with Kavanaugh (which would have been the appropriate venue to bring them up, seeing as how the accuser wished to keep her name out of the news). The letter was then leaked by staff at the last minute...AFTER the end of the hearings...in a last ditch effort to delay the vote.  Her lawyers, democrat operatives recommended by her senator, then proceeded to ignore their ethical obligation to their client by not making it clear that the committee was willing to go to her privately in her home to interview her. HER LAWYERS (democrat operatives) WANTED the public hearing.

As for the whole Merrick Garland thing, you can thank Joe Biden for that precedent.  In 1992, he was adamant that GHWB should not appoint a justice to the SCOTUS, should a vacancy occur, until after the election.  It, too, was a presidential election year.

When approaching a 4-way stop, the vehicle with the biggest tires has the right of way!

Good point. We tend to put things in modern perspective.

Referring to a C.S. Lewis book about faith and ethics. He said the same thing as 41, gotta figure out your timeline as a start point before judging the situation from a high vantage point.

He used the East coast folks who were roasting witches as an example. If there was in fact a corrupted individual who could use a black art to torture, terrify and kill unwitting civilians wouldn’t that person deserve to be prosecuted for the crime? Of course! Most believed it was a reality and were acting on sound conscience dealing with it. Hindsight, however, tells an altogether different story.

The constitution is a reversal of that notion. Do you think this current generation could reproduce that document spontaneously without having lived under it’s umbrella? No way. Not enough grit and determination to absorb the “discomforts” of birthing it. Not to mention our moral compass is pointing predominately south. They burned witches in ignorance, we burn good people for fun.

Y'all will of course note that Jeff Flake's info wasn't posted.  Libs value his support of the resistance movement.  Kinda like a stupid version of McCain.  I hear he regularly shines Chucky Schumer's shoes just to curry favor.

After watching a scary part of Hillary's interview on the Atlantic Magazine where she said there are only 50 million Republicans in the country plus Trump, we have 350 million Democrats maybe we should just totally wipe them out of our country. She got applause. In that light the staffer who did the hack on Wikipedia will probably get a big promotion, raise and some air time as a heroic Resistance Fighter.

If there are that many democrats in the US, why isn't she in the White House?

Many of us conservatives are waiting for the democrats to try wiping us out of the country.  She forgets who has the vast majority of the guns!
