Well sort of.  Dealer here in Mass (Ipswich Ford) who probably sells as many class 6 and 7 Fords as any dealer in the state, and in the old Louisville days would usually have an LN-8000 or two in inventory with a 6-8 yd body, air to the rear, pintle hook, everything that a contractor would want in a six wheeler, is starting to do the same with F-750s.  The attached picture is of a 750 with a 12 front, 23 rear, 31,000 lb rear suspension and high RBM frame.  On paper it would qualify as a class 8 but Ford has a special "Derate" option that lets them put a 33,000 lb GVW plate on the truck, thereby avoiding FET.

I had a conversation with one of the principals and one good thing he said is the build quality on these is very good.  Trucks come in and basically they check fluids, tire pressures and trucks are good to go.F-750-side (1).htmF-750 Body (1).htm
