Hi all,

im new here looking for more wisdom than I have. I have a 2006 granite that keeps eating fan clutches. The main hub bearing are good but when the fan is not engaged it’s spinning real slow and it’s real sloppy. This is the 2nd one in 60 days now. These hubs were purchased from local Mack garage but are not genuine Mack. Looks like I’m gonna be changing another one very soon but I’m going with a genuine Mack hub this time around. I’ve replaced the fan and the air control switch still works perfectly. My question is.... has anyone else ever had this issue? Am I missing somthing or doing something wrong? I’ve changed several fan hubs but this has me stumped
