Quick crazy question guys will a 11/22.5 tire fit and run fine on a 9 inch rim that my 315 tire was on..

Looked at changing hub drum to 10 bolt

3600 then have to buy tires and rims not a option

Called about new 8 lug rims 2600 then tires dont really want to spend that much either smh

Any advice would be appreciated thanks

yes..., but why?  usually 315 is there for the weight rating  ...11Rs don't even come close.  Also used 9 inch rims are worth more than used 8.25...perhaps you could make a deal with somebody.

Cost double the price  of 11/22.5 and here in nc dot says tire cant touch when loaded they just do touch I've had no problem with them but problems with dot..

Ocassionally I found out that the most of Japanise heavy trucks use those 8 lug wheels. Here are many companies which import used wheels from Japan and for trucks either. I saw pairs of quite good 8.25x22.5 Alcoas for reasonable but had no need in them.
