I am a daily visitor to your website, we have very similar taste in trucks.

Thank you! I've always been a vocational truck fan. A long nose Peterbilt with a lots of chrome does nothing for me.

going to sound ridiculous but I remember this truck or it's kissing cousin from my younger days and St. Louis is not a small town.

That’s really neat, it is downtown next to psc metals.

I was downtown often as grandpa worked at Monsanto, and several cousins worked at Busch. Don't remember PSC Metals but there were a lot of business around there then.

We lived near Bevo Mill and a bus ride anyplace in the city and suburbs was cheap; so got around a lot.

Don't know where I came up with Breckerman other than I was in the Navy with a guy with that name. Breckenridge has had yellow drums for as long as I can remember. Laclede had red mixers and company trucks marked up a lot like the taxis in the 1960's till mid 70's IIRC. I left St. Louis after grandpa retired, (Monsanto) in 1977. Don't remember the concrete names you mentioned which have folded and also cannot remember the company that ran almost exclusively REO mixers that were white and blue in color. As a very young kid I went on a lot of deliveries with "Otto", (neighbor) whom worked for them many years.

Those blue and white mixers would either be south county concrete or Jefferson ready mix.
