they don't need my funding. only wheels of time I read is when someone gives it to me anymore and 95 percent of the mag is all advertisement anymore. being a young guy and who has restored his own truck and a few more im not the Skip Mckeen or the Tackaberry and I feel I get treated like shit at most ATHS shows. ill stick to Macungie and a few more and will enjoy driving my truck and not paying $35 to register it to show and $25 a piece for me and the wife to attend the show after I register. don't think ill ever be attending another National ATHS show. all big money game

What is the date of Macungie this year? I know it's father's day weekend but don't even know when that is.

Thanks much. I've not asked and it's not been mentioned till now. I was kinda thinking it was the next weekend so glad I did ask.

Sorry to hear all that BS, hope you enjoyed the trucks and met people you liked to communicate with.
The trucks you posted are really great. Very nice and interesting day cab KW cabover.
Thanks for sharing.

Yes I really liked that one as well real good condition it probably look better in person than in the photo

I had a great time in Reno, where else can you see 975 trucks in one place, walk about 25 miles and ride in a golf cart an unknown additional amount of miles

I met many nice people who were very friendly and talkative.

The only issue I had was with a few drunks at the casino

A whole group of us went there together, It was a fun but uneventful 1000 mile road trip

Yes it did cost $35 to enter a truck, $50 for a show pass and $50 for the awards banquet.

These costs where a fraction of the cost of fuel, lodging and meals to attend the show.

The fee to enter the truck and attend the event is related to the cost to rent the facility.

The vehicles were displayed indoors in two indoor rooms and the auction hall. Outdoors they were displayed in the RV park, two dedicated parking lots and a third overflow lot.

Additional facilities included the unloading lot with loading ramp
And the trailer storage lit.

The $50 for the awards banquet is not unreasonable considering what my friends are paying for wedding receptions at similar places.

My registration and insurance card are in the cab, as required by state law.

My only complaints were the sound system in the hotel banquet room needed an upgrade and ATHS should have given the paperwork out to those that were not preregistered when they first entered the rv park.

There you go one more gripe......I’ve seen 4 commercials for Harley rally’s is here in Reno not one add for ATHS truck show what that that tell you no adds .....idiots thanks guys for nothing that’s why I left your shiitty club....again thanks for nothing .....lol bob

I heard a similar thing from my friends that live in Reno, everyone in town New something involving trucks was going on at the GSR but there was no advertising.

I think this has to do with this being the ATHS national convention and not just a truck show.

To me it's not a big deal to not have a bunch of idiots off of the street wandering around my truck.

I prefer industry shows over public shows. We have had more issues with vandalism, theft and stupid idiots at public shows. At industry shows I have found this being almost non existent
