Please J, do you have any more pictures of this beaut Mack with the hood closed, I would like to see it with the complete truck, thank you

Sorry Harry.  They were cleaning under the hood and stopped for my picture.  I meant to come back later for a hood down picture but never made it.  Maybe someone else who was at the show can provide a good picture for you.

Jim

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

Why would you replace a Mack V8 with a Detroit though?????

71, and 92 parts are still easily available is one good reason.

Oh, I grew up around Jimmys, their V8's have their sweet sound, however I agree with AZB, all Mack V8's - on another level of ...,  like Phil Spector's Wall Of Sound, no music comes close  - play loud Righteous Bros - You've lost that loving feeling - Mack V8 raw power!!! especially if coming out of 8 inch straits

Some of the best music I've ever heard was produced by a V8 Superliner pulling a loaded to 70 tons 17 axle doubles train in South Dakota a few years back. Last time I saw a Mack or even a Volvo pulling one of those 17 axle trains... Says something of what Volvo has done to Mack.
