On my air dryer there is a small hose going from the air dryer to the air compressor governor.

My air dryer needs to be replaced and I am considering just eliminating it for a hobby truck in California

If I eliminate the air dryer what do I do with this little hose?

You can ditch the small control line that runs between the governor and dryer that signals the purge.  A small pipe plug in the governor will seal things up.

I can confirm - My 1972 CF-600 does not and never has had a dryer and the governor is plugged with a pipe plug.
