Hey guys, I have a 2005 CHN613 with a Maxitroque 13 speed. When using the splitter I'm able to get into high gear, but when I go back down the splitter doesnt activate. I have to press harder on the splitter for it to engage. I believe It needs to be replaced. I was able to remove the single 11/16 nut on the shifter knob and remove it, but i'm not quite sure how to fully open it and remove the lines and inspect it maybe I can fix on my own. If theres any advice on how to properly remove the shifter knob Id appreciate it! Thank you.

Here is a link to the type of shifter I have. This listing says 18 speed but I have a 13 speed.

Get an 18 speed knob and your trans will become an 18 speed. The 13 just has a block pin in it to stop you from splitting low. Sales pitch...kinda lame they did that.

The lines have push-pull sleeves. In other words if you push the ring in and pull line it will pop out. You must not have any air pressure or the line won’t want to release. They are like the shark bite pex fittings.

Don't think I've ever seen one of those rebuilt myself. Everybody readily converts to the 18 speed. My PAI book doesn't show a rebuild kit available through them.

If I remember right! The red split button is 13sp & the gray 1 is 18sp. The transmission’s are the same!
