Transmission high range grinding


Question

I'm a shop foreman for a small yard in New Mexico, and I've got a strange issue. After changing; the high/low selector fork, the clutch, and high/low selector valve, the truck still grinds and won't shift into any of the high range gears. When the church is released it grinds in 6th - 10th gear. Help me please. I'm stumped.

If it's an older Mack Transmission I know some had syncros so if it was put together wrong it'd probably be out of sync which would cause it to grind and not shift. If everything is put together right all I can tell you is practice...

Who needs a back yard when you could have a :mack1: Yard?!
